LIBRARY BOOK/TEXT BOOK CHECK-IN PROCEDURES

All students are responsible for checking in all of their textbooks, library books, and paying any other fines PRIOR to taking their final exams.  Students will receive a grade of “F” until all fines are paid for any class. Once the fine is paid the grade will be changed to the earned grade. Teachers will remind students of their textbook fines. Parents are also encouraged to e-mail teachers prior to exams if they are unsure of fines for their child.

FINAL EXAM CONFLICTS and BATTLE PLANS

If families have a schedule conflict during final exam week, please call or e-mail me directly to confirm absence and to make alternate testing arrangements. I will then notify your child’s teachers and will contact your child to direct them to set up a make-up schedule for day(s) that will be missed. Final exams are scheduled from May 21st - May 24th. Please download a copy of the final exam schedule from the website by clicking on the “Hours and Schedules” link under the Our School tab.

Please inquire about your child’s “Final Exam Battle Plan” that students will develop in ACCESS on Wednesday, May 16th, as a way to plan study times, review any missing or late assignments, and consider personal extra-curricular schedules as part of the study plan. We encourage parents to review and discuss this with their child.
