Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School serves students in Grades 7 and 8, and is nestled at the base of Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our collective commitment is to the cognitive and social development of your adolescent child and to provide a safe learning environment anchored in positive relationships and self-advocacy.
This year’s Pennies for Patients program will take place March 2-6. Student Council will be leading the collection efforts by visiting ACCESS classes and keeping track of donation totals for each class. There are classroom prizes for the top three finishers. This program benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) which supports cancer research and patient services. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children, adolescents, and young adults under the age of 20. Cheyenne Mountain Jr. High can help make a difference by donating any money (not just pennies!) during this program.
The spring administration of state-mandated assessments for 7th and 8th grade students will require modifications to the CMJH schedule on several days between March and May.
